Pete served as part of the Royal Green Jackets and was posted to a variety of locations including the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Kenya and Fiji, the latter as part of the British Army Recruiting Group selecting candidates from Fiji for the British Army. On Operations, Pete spent 3 years in Northern Ireland and was presented with a Mention in Dispatches as part of his teams’ actions in August 1992.
Upon joining MPCT in 2006, Pete began as an Instructor at MPC Cardiff before becoming the Lead Instructor in Wrexham and has progressed through the Company since then.
As well as having a physical training background, Pete is an avid exercise enthusiast and has taken part in a variety of endurance challenges to raise money for local charities. Pete feels that the mark of a good society is what we do for the most vulnerable within it to make their lives better. Pete is extremely proud to be part of MPCT, supporting young people in their career progression, and finds it extremely rewarding.

Originally joining the Army at the age of Sixteen and Enlisted into the Infantry (Kings Regiment) serving in The Falkland Islands, Northern Ireland and Berlin. Bernard was successful in completing his PTI's Course and served as the Battalions PTI for Two Years.
Bernard left the Army after serving five Years and became a Prison Officer, but after two years in a Young Offenders Institute, he still felt a part of him was missing out on the Military.
He then enlisted into the Royal Marine Commandos and served for his full 22 Years, getting to the Rank of Colour Sergeant and Qualifying as an Instructor Class 1.
Bernard served 4 drafts and carried out 5 Operational Tours of Duty with 45 Commando, as well as a draft with 30 Commando. He also served 3 Drafts at the Commando Training Center as a Recruit Instructor finally finishing as the Chief Instructor at the Foundation Center Lympstone as his final Draft.
Bernard was also lucky to have spent two years as a Weapons Instructor with the Royal Navy at HMS Sultan, training the Phase 2 Recruits and he also had the pleasure of serving with the Royal Marine Reserves as the Phase 1 PSI at Anzio House; where he started his career with MPCT.
Since leaving the Royal Marines, Bernard has had various jobs in different positions gaining valuable Civilian experience; in particular working with Children as a Captain in the Reserve Forces and Cadet Association for a couple of Years.
Ieuan is from Wrexham, North Wales. He joined the Army on the 10th of March 2013, attending the Army Foundation College Harrogate, after completing training he moved onto ITC Catterick completing a further 5 months in Para Depot.
Passing out of training in February 2014, Ieuan went to the 3rd Bn The Parachute Regiment, serving until February 2019, where he left as a Lance Corporal.
Ieuan Served in the Middle East, Africa, Falklands, Poland, Germany, America and France.
He had the pleasure of commanding his own section from the time he first promoted to Lance Corporal, up until his final day in a rifle company.
He then moved onto being part of the Bn Gym Staff up until his final day in Unit.
Kevin served in the Royal Marine Commandos for just shy of 13 years. After a number of tours in Afghanistan and Iraq in a number of instructor roles, he decided it was time to try something new.
Following training in South Africa as a close protection officer, Kevin worked in the maritime security industry prior to following his passion for nutrition. Role on 4 years later, after uni as a qualified nutritionist, it was time to try and put it all together.
MPCT is the perfect place to align Kevin's military, nutrition and PT experience in order to positively influence the next generation.
Louis is the Military Maths & English tutor at MPCT Liverpool.
He served six and a half years in the Royal Navy and Royal Marines conducting operations in Africa and Europe.
After leaving the Armed Forces Louis pursued education.
He undertook an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science, qualified as a Secondary Physical Education teacher and he is on the verge of completing a Masters degree in Education Practice.
Louis has taught in a range of educational settings including mainstream secondary schools, SEN schools and has worked for a few years at a Pupil referral unit for pupils with social, emotional and behavioural disorders.
